We believe in informing and educating our customers as much as possible. Below is an overview of different installation methods used when replacing windows. Our suggested installation method on your estimate is based on our experience and knowledge of the craft. We truly believe this is what is best for your home.

Full Frame Installation

The existing window and frame are completely removed.
Best option if frames are rotten or warped.
Entire opening is insulated around new window.
Exterior is caulked and sealed.

Retrofit or Pocket style Installation

Old sashes and glass are removed.
Existing frame is left in place. New window is installed inside of the existing frame.
Exterior is not disturbed.
No interior trim is installed.
New interior trim is installed.
